Really worth it. We came back using the road to have a different scenery. Totally recommended Amazing rock formation with easy hike Great landscape and really nice natural pyramides. The way up to the spot is easy. If you go the complete round, the way after the pyramides ia really muddy and steep, but still a great way for hiking An engaging pine forest for the kids, with the bonus of stunning valley views towards the end. The boards kept them interested the whole way. The is 30 minutes from the car park, but we took about an hour and stopped multiple times to explore. We parked in one of the nearby villages and then walked about an hour and half. The itself is wonderful and you are rewarded with beautiful earth formations once you arrive here. There are several viewpoints but the best one is from the top. However it is worth descending to the other ones, as you get a different perspective. Lots of wooden sculptures on the way. ## Piramidi di Terra a Perca: A Geological Wonder Worth the Challenge The Earth Pyramids of Perca (Piramidi di Terra a Perca) in the Dolomites are a fascinating geological marvel unlike anything you've ever seen. However, be prepared for an adventure to get there! **Unique and Breathtaking:** The highlight of this location is undoubtedly the earth pyramids themselves. These towering, pointed structures formed naturally through erosion, creating a landscape that's both awe-inspiring and otherworldly. It's a truly unique sight that will leave you marveling at the power of nature. **A Word on Accessibility:** **Important note:** Reaching the Earth Pyramids requires navigating a narrow and steep road that may be challenging for some drivers. Additionally, there's no designated parking available at the site. While I resorted to parking near an abandoned house (which I don't recommend unless you're comfortable and certain it's safe), it's best to research alternative parking options beforehand. Consider exploring nearby villages and walking or biking to the pyramids. **Exploring the Pyramids:** Once you reach the site, the well-maintained trail with wooden walkways and fences seamlessly blends into the natural surroundings. There are also wooden benches scattered along the path, providing a perfect spot to rest and soak in the views. **Overall, the Piramidi di Terra a Perca offer a unique and unforgettable experience. While the access challenges require some planning, the breathtaking geological formations and the well-maintained trail make it a worthwhile adventure for anyone seeking something off the beaten path in the Dolomites.** Very long walk. Nice sight but if you don’t like to I would say use your energy for more beautiful sights. This place was ok. In all honesty I don’t like hiking or walking so it wasn’t worth it to me. Easy to reach, super nice to see. Highly recommend for some short hike Beautiful throught a forest, which take about 30 minutes. It is great idea when is cloudy, rainy weather- have been there when was rainy-snowy day, what was perfect, and still we saw the pyramides. On the way down you can use a road, which is closed for cars. We did it because of the rain, so it was not so “dangerous” and a bit easier. Go there!
