Decent with a nice view Excellent cafe, in a beautiful setting. Wow! I was so impressed. Homemade soup is a must. It's been so many years since I've visited Blaenau Ffestiniog and the first at this cafe. But be assured, I'll be back.... Great view, food amazing staff. I think that ticks every box Had to Google what was open locally after unsuccessful look around Blaenau Ffestiniog , and found this welcome stop . Good range of freshly cooked food on offer, along with drinks and sweets. Set at the side of Lake, so beautiful views, especially if able to sit outdoors . so welcoming and accommodating , making it an enjoyable lunch x Nice staff, tasty cakes, hot drinks, plenty of indoor & outdoor seating, plenty of free parking. Absolutely stunning and a peaceful setting – this café is a must-visit. The were incredibly and made us feel right at home. coffee, atmosphere, and the kind of place you want to come back to again and again. Highly recommended! A lovely little to stop off at, either before or after a long hike. Seemed clean and was to see inside the kitchen, whilst ordering at the counter. Service was quick and efficient and the hot chocolate was lovely to have, all while admiring the wonderful above! Would certainly recommend however, as a word of advice, there is no in the carpark if you want to visit Cwmorthin Waterfall, as there is a short walk away from them! Ok cafe, amazing location! A really and welcoming little cafe. Stopped in for a quick bit of lunch. You walk in, and choose your own table. There's a dog side, a main seating area and breakfast bar style seats overlooking the lake. There's further seating outside and the there are spectacular. There's a menu on the table but there's also a specials board tucked in the main room with tasty fresh options. Service is fast, and the food is well priced and nice enough. The were fantastic though, checked how we would like everything and were really accommodating (salad in a separate bowl etc). Impressed with the chicken goujons which were nice good chunks of proper chicken. The bakes were less exciting for what they were but still tasty. Decent selection of veggie options and a few that looked to be fully vegan which is always nice. A lunch pit stop on a journey, and a lovely place to stop by for an ice cream/cuppa! place to refuel after a walk in this fantastic area. Lovely place food was beautiful What a gem if you want a fry up, we will return. all around if you are outside including waterfall, lake and dam. Clean and with good food.😍 Second of using Lakeside Cafe, this it was after a day in a slate mine & we were dying for a hot drink. The is nicely situated with pleasant views, the are very nice & & the drinks are spot on, didn't eat there this as it was quite late in the day but previous food has been superb & we will certainly be back when next that way! Amazing at this and the food was even better! We had the full breakfast and were really impressed by the quality of the ingredients used. The bacon was really thick and quality, the bean and tomatoes were both really rich in flavour, I usually hate tomatoes but actually ate these ones! Plenty of parking, even though it was busy at the of our arrival, there was more than enough parking. The was very clean and tidy with a warm welcome from staff. Will visit again on our travels! Stopped by Lakeside on a sunny afternoon and was pleasantly surprised! A generous serving of chips with a mildly spiced curry — hit the spot. The portion size is great, and the flavor reminded me of comforting Indian home-style food. If you’re vegetarian and craving something Indian in the area, Lakeside has a good vegan option (curry with rice) that are simple but satisfying. It’s not an elaborate Indian restaurant, but it’s definitely a solid pick for a quick bite with familiar spices — especially when enjoyed outdoors by the lake. Kid-friendly too! Top fry-up, vegan options available. Winner winner vegan-dinner! were lovely and all the food was delicious. Fried bread was the star of the show ✨! Conveniently placed for walkers, bikers and drivers, cavers and climbers! Have been many times and would recommend I out 4 stars for atmosphere only because music wasnt on for most of our there, but I dont think this matter. Food was beautiful and fairly priced.
