Thought was priced well too not overly expensive First visit for a few years since moving out of the area, a few things have changed. They no longer have saddles in store, the entrance is now at the rear meaning you have to go through the equestrian and equestrian clothing ( which is quite crowded ) to get to the country section and feed barn rather than them branching off the original entrance. Also the lack of men's riding apparel and is quite disappointing. Went in for some clippers blades that were showing as being in stock in the store online. Travelled over half an hour, only to be told they're not in stock and the website just shows what they have as a whole (even though it shows per store). I was then told by the very rude member how I should have phoned to check before I set off?! Customer at its absolute worst. Lovely staff. Very helpful. Feed and accessories needs a spruce up. Went in for Donkey wormer. Rather than just selling me the horse wormer they had, they suggested I try elsewhere as their wormer didn't tackle lungworm. Could have just sold me their wormer but didn't. Impressed. The new layout is great the team have done a great job, much easier to navigate around the store Slow delivery. Website states same day dispatch. 5 days later, order still not dispatched and nobody had contacted me. When I contacted them, I was told it would be sent today, and should arrive by the end of the week. After further conversation, this was altered to next day delivery, which I appreciate, hence 2 stars. The tone of customer support was not great- just blank explanation, nothing much in the way of apology. I'll order elsewhere in future. We visited a last weekend, for our first time, We was recommended your store by a friend of ours. We came with the intention of just looking at Hats, However the lady there was so helpful, she fitted my daughter with a hat and explained why they needed to fit in a certain way, and the hat was actually on sale, so i couldn't leave it. We have been to other horse riding equipment stores, but never made to feel as welcome as we did here. So thank-you to all the that worked on Sun 30th June. We certainly will be back for more equipment. Brilliant shop for all your horsey needs. Always has everything we need and are nice and helpful! Brilliant customer went above and beyond expectations. First visit after i phoned them they put my horse rug aside after listening to requirements and giving me some advice on the best oe for me. Fits my horse really well and Inexpensive. Thank you to everyone at R and R Melton Mowbray from a very satisfied customer 😀 After trying to decide weather to purchase or not- I had left it until last minute to order and was really lucky to get some Fairfax and Favor explorer in the sale (an absolutely brilliant price!) in my size. I have ordered from them a few times (always been good) but just recently ordered from them after the “guaranteed delivery in time for Christmas” cut off on Friday 19th Dec. The estimated dispatch date was Monday 22nd Dec (not guaranteed as said previously), however the parcel was actually dispatched on Saturday 20th which I was so surprised and happy with! The were then delivered the following day. Absolutely exceptional service, I was so pleased that the arrived before Christmas. Thank you so much! Wouldn't recommend anyone buys anything online from this company. It appears they'll happily sweep up apparel off the floor and send it out filthy to customers. Shocking customer that makes you feel it's your fault when you return what is obviously used clothing. Went in to buy a new pair of long riding boots, wasn’t the most confident about this! Only one lady on the til at feed side was friendly. Went in to the clothing side made to feel uncomfortable more interested in getting displays finished. A lady did find a couple pairs of which were unsuitable asked for short and half chap option got told over there with no offer of help or advice left upset and confidence knocked even more and without getting what needed will won’t be returning again. absolutely love the kids area! it makes so much sense it all being together!
