Callington, United Kingdom Performing arts theater

One of the Best Places To Visits in Caradon Town Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. An indoor experience this time (it is October). Lovely little theatre space in the Sturrock studio. A nice drink before we went in to this intimate place. We watched Kevrin which was very thought provoking. The bigger stage is outside but under cover. We have seen many performances here over the years including music, theatre and dance. Fantastic place. Fab evening here last night watching HMS Pinafore. Very entertaining, extremely funny and want a fab performance by the team!! Come back next year please!! I used to live in this village and have been coming to Sterts since it first started (pre canvas roof!) It’s such a loved venue, please, please support it or you will lose it. I lived in Upton Cross from 1982-1995 and was sad to leave. Sterts has been part of my life whilst I was there, and since. Great to be outside watching a performance by the lovely Miracle Theatre. 😍 The new building of Sterts theatre is in the background and should be opening next week. Went to watch Cloudbusting (Kate Bush tribute evening) the show was fantastic and the atmosphere was amazing, however, what enhanced our visit, was the help and support we received from Lucy prior to the evening, I am disabled and have mobility issues, Lucy made adjustments to help our access and seating, on the night Tim (a member of the team) was so attentive and helpful, he is a credit to the venue! All in all a huge thank you for going above and beyond 🙏 we will be back. Thank you 😊 Fantastic atmosphere all year round! Cushions & blankets are a must if you're in the outside theatre. A large range of shows running (inside) throughout the autumn/winter seasons too. If you're down this way, its worth a visit! I cant wait to go back soon! First time since its renovation. Amazing. Really well done. Friendly staff. And the show we saw was fantastic too. Great night out. I visited Sterts for the first time last night to see a performance of Pride & Prejudice. Sadly we, a group of seven adults, agreed to leave during the interval. The acoustics are such that much of the dialogue lacks clarity. One female character's dialogue, in particular, was delivered at a fast, garbled screech which was impossible to follow. Sadly, to add to the experience, one of our party took quite a soaking from condensation which poured down on him whilst he was sitting. The facilities cannot be faulted with spotless loos and the picnic area is very pleasant. I believe coffees etc were available & everyone concerned with running the theatre was very welcoming. There are issues which need to be addressed. Really great venue for shows. Perfect for midsummer nights dream during the summer. The performance was wonderful. Very accommodating staff as a wheelchair user had good visibility of stage. Lovely family night out thank you.
