We had between us all the meat roasts on offer and they did not disappoint. Overall a great pub to visit. We will be back ourselves! We visited the pub on the last night of our holiday, and we were not disappointed! The food selection was varied and catered for all of us, ranging from proper pub classics to something a little bit more unique and special. The Burt ends beans on toast starter was by far the best starter of our whole holiday! I would absolutely recommend it! All the food was sublime and cooked to perfection. We even had deserts, the blackberry and Lime cheesecake was to die for! The staff were really lovely and welcoming to new faces, the pub itself had a really nice relaxing atmosphere. Even though we were by the bar, it didn't feel too loud or crowded. Thank you all for a great dining experience! We will be back to visit on our next holiday. Went for a Sunday roast with my family Priced at £17.50 for beef or pork,Lamb was £18.50 What we got for that money was very disappointing..it wasn’t very hot and the veg arrived separately..for 4 adults it was put in one small serving tray..enough for two people at a push..It also wasn’t very warm Didn’t find it value for money at all and although we gave a gratuity for the friendly servers it was only done out of politeness..it wasn’t the servers fault.. Won’t be having a roast there again! We found this place randomly and it was a gem of a find. We were driving around looking for someone to grab a bite and saw the sign on the main road and thought let's have a gander. The front of the pub has lovely flowers in hanging baskets and was pretty. The service at the bar was fast and friendly. We ordered and had drinks in our hands within 5 minutes of walking in. We just ordered cheesy chips but they were top notch. No complaints from us here. The outside area was lovely to sit out in the sun. Lovely food as always. Went for a family dinner. Good choice for vegetarian, fish eaters and meat eaters alike. Plenty of choice for kids and good selection of draft ciders and ales. In lovely St Dominic with some stunning views (when the weather allows!) Stopped by for supper and tried a variety of dishes. All the meals and puddings where good, nothing disappointed but the triple chocolate brownie was exceptional! Having been all over the world it is by far the best brownie I EVER had.
