Lon or a Cove and was a lovely stop over whist on my South Coast Trail. There is a paid car park, a small and a cafe which was shut. I was really hoping it was open! People were enjoying the small harbour and beach. Very relaxing spot. I was able to make a coffee and have a snack whilst taking in the view. Small but top Nice little cove. We kayaked around the bay and it was great fun! Small cafe with food and ice cream too. A small little cove, no sand to be seen when we visited but huge rocks on beach. Long windy lane to get to with narrow passing places, not for anyone scared about scratching their car. Worth it though as its quiet and secluded, has a cafe, toilet and great little shop and parking. words can not describe the cove and it's astounding beauty. swim. paddle. or just sit. wonder at everything around. Keeps you away from the popular places. Stunningly beautiful. Tiny compared to most in Cornwall but so worth a visit. When the tide is in the kids enjoyed snorkeling and swimming and then it's lovely to sit and relax on the when the sea goes out. The views are amazing. Only down side was the cafe was happy to open and take money for food/drink but not happy to open the toilets. Stopped here on a road tour of Penwith peninsula. It's stunningly beautiful, worth at least a short stop. Not so much a beach, more a small fishing harbour. Lovely quiet place to visit though. Access via narrow Cornish lane - don't take the Bentley! DO NOT VISIT! Unless you enjoy getting parking fines! My sister got one for not buying her ticket till 20 minutes after her arrival because she was busy attending to her crying baby! Absolutely disgraceful!!! BE AWARE IN LAMORNA COVE Scam in the café, not only in the parking. (See the other reviews) I have been ripped off be the two teenagers working there with my change today Sunday 3rd August. Is that normal in Cornwall ? Do not bother to visit this café. Don’t bother visiting this cove! I want to spread the word so no one else falls for the scam! The road to it is very narrow single track so you don’t have a choice you have to pull into this camera area, my baby woke cry so was settling her I was going to stay the night here but didn’t like the vibe, When I went to pay for an hour even tho I was here 20min they didn’t take card or online payment only coins and who has £18 worth of coins for 24hrs! unfortunately I couldn’t find any change it felt like locals just put signs up to stop people parking, Just feels like a scam as no one has cash or coins on them anymore and £18 over night for no service is expensive just to have a sea view. But they are clever as now my 20mins stay is costing £60-£100 I tried challenging it but no luck.
