Of special note is the collection of tree ferns but had we been a couple of weeks earlier the camellias and azaleas would also have been quite a sight. We really appreciated the seasonal notes from the head gardener on the back of our map. Very dog friendly- they need to be on leads but the paths are nice and shady and there are lots of good smells. The largest selection of Tree ferns in the Northern hemisphere and you walk beneath these jurrasic giants. Super selection of exotics and magnolias and trees. Great for coffee and cake. Toilets available. It was an amazing experience especially the Valley of tree ferns. The best of very many that I have visited. There's a selling delicious cakes and lunches.
