We were a party of twelve who arrived in dribs and drabs, as some had been held up en route. The pub was getting busier, but we were treated with courtesy. The food arrived on time and was excellent. The service even extended to the disposal of a doggy poo bag, which was over and above the call of duty! 😉 It’s the perfect stop after a lovely hike. We visit every year, walking from St.Ives along the coast, for well deserved refreshments. The food and drinks are always exceptional and the staff are friendly and helpful. Consistently the best day of my Cornish holiday every year! The Tinners Arms is such a lovely village pub that the wife and I enjoy visiting every time we come to this beautiful part of Cornwall. We have been very fortunate to always get a table inside the bar and the atmosphere is always good due to the pub being full. The fish and chips are the best in the country without question and at a reasonable price. We always have the soup of the day as a starter, which is delicious. I strongly recommend this pub but keep in mind, last orders for food is at 19:45 hours. Perfect pub for a halfway stop during the St Ives - Zennor loop walk. Generous food portions and great beer garden with nice countryside views. Staff were lovely and really attentive!
