Top park, plenty benches, pagoda and great for dogs running around. Quiet steep to get to the top, but does lead to the track up to balshammer tower. Monument to the parks founder also. Loads of trees. Nice accessible gravel paths although, the is on a hill so requires some effort to walk the whole way around if your mobility is compromised. Plenty of benches. Resident magpies to see. You can walk up to the monument from here though not suitable for wheelchairs or small mobility scooters due to incline and a couple of stone steps. Nice small but big enough to play ball on greens with your dog Lovely big for walking the dog Nice little park, lovely and clean. Took the kids up to kick a rugby ball about, great massive grass area with a small play area for younger kids The views are beautiful. And really like the new memorial benches Lovely and nice walk for the dog, just a shame about the grafitti on the band stand.
