I’ve been here many times and will visit again. Whilst the inside of this restaurant looks like a cafeteria it might make you think the food may be iffy however, this is definitely a place to try! Parking is a bit tight, but that’s such a minor thing. I’ve been here so many times and the food is always amazing, hot and delicious. The store has unique gifts and souvenirs! The bathrooms are clean! Peggy Scott’s is reasonably priced with delicious food - something I’m sure the locals know all about! Thank you Peggy Scott’s for continually making my mouth 👄 and stomach happy! Better than your average roadside café I was quite impressed with this rest stop café, and it certainly makes a pleasant change to see something other than your standard soulless KFC Starbucks service station. Crispy fudge brownie, 8/10, really generous potion and very satisfying crunch and fudgey texture. Good stuff. Blueberry scone, 7/10, decent scone, but no cream or jam to go with it. Tea, 7/10, nice cuppa, not much else to say. Chunky home made sweet bakes Very tasty Hot chocolate decent Coffee machine not bean to cup Nice, clean, spacious restaurant. Great looking cakes, but I was there for a Sunday breakfast and it was lovely. People were friendly and helpful. Bookmarked it as I'll be back next time I'm in the area. Nice stop off for a bite to eat. We enjoyed the delicious homemade soup and cakes. Reasonably priced. Spacious car park. Also has small gift shop and selection of groceries/sweets etc. A handy welcome break when driving the A90. Brilliant! If you are travelling north with a Caravan or motor home this is the place to stop. Lovely restaurant good menu amazing cakes. Lovely staff & a shop what more do you need!! Highly recommended although one of the staff said if its busy season parking can be a problem Have passed many times driving up the A90, first time stopping by. Great place for a pit stop. Nice shop area with all sorts of gifts, homewear and groceries. The cafe area offers a full selection of meals and snack, with a mouthwatering display of cakes. It was a bit early for cake so opted for hot chocolate and a bacon roll. Drive on by. you’ll only be terribly disappointed if you stop here it’s first class prices for below sub standard food. Frozen chips a dodgy grease soaked batter the likes I’ve never seen or experienced before. I picked out the fish which was the only edible bit. Then abandoned the rest.
