Would I stay here again knowing what I know? No. Would I recommend to a friend? No. First the positives 1) the price 2) the staff 3) it was clean. Negatives: 1) Room was very small 2) it was far away from town - 20 minute walk 3) room was damp 4) WI-FI kept going in and out 4) horrible pillows - felt like a bunch of rags were stuffed in a pillow case 5) even though we stayed for 2 nights we were not given clean, dry towels- because of the dampness of the room, our towels were all wet on the second day. The area is quiet, you can enjoy stargazing and in the morning eat peacefully in the terrace. Rooms for couples are small but manageable. Dolores at the reception is so nice and helpful. She has these great tips of where to go and what to do. Also, they have a digital guide that is very helpful. Tip: When asking for breakfast, take the one in the basket from local farmers. It is delicious. We stayed here one night while visiting Bled and had the most fantastic stay. Peter, who was there to meet us was so helpful providing fantastic tips, and advice on what to do in the area. We especially appreciate the flexibility regarding our late arrival, and we’re very grateful to the lovely lady who gave us so many helpful tips and local recommendations. Although we didn’t request breakfast, having a coffee on the terrace with my daughter while enjoying the breathtaking view of the mountains was an unforgettable moment. After a friendly phone call, we received clear information about a late check-in, which was very convenient. The villa is in a beautiful location — within walking distance of both nature and the city center. Everything is spotless and well-equipped. Highly recommended! We stayed 2 nights in Vila Alpina. It is such a gorgeous hotel. It’s not big but modern, hat peacefully atmosphere and most of all it’s pet friendly. At the reception welcomed you so kind man who will give you priceless tips and guidance, this man is a highlight of a hotel.
