A fantastic place to stay, we travelled from Wf11 and had the best stay. The entertainment was great the staff were all friendly and kind nothing was too much for anyone. The entire place was lovely and clean including the swimming pool sauna and steam room, the only "down side" we found was there wasn't quite enough changing rooms for the amount of people going swimming on certain days some days we were in and out, others we had to stand and wait for a cubicle The cafe was well priced and the food we had was delicious and served quickly. the small arcade was just enough for my girls ages 9 and 5 and the bowling was a lovely addition Fantastic for families. Full of entertainment for the kids. They had reptiles and small animals, drawing, dancing, and swimming. Tons to do for the kids. The only thing I struggled was the plastic mattress. Could feel it through the bottom sheet, and if the bottom sheet came off, I had to peal my skin off. We have just returned from stanwix we took our tourer and cannot fault the pitch. As others have said the toilet block could do with an upgrade but the main thing is it's clean. Centre the kids love it reasonable price bar staff are fantastic cannot wait to get back in the next half term. Just got back after 4 days and can say it was fabulous from start to finish. Use to come here as a child and now I have returned 20 years later with my child. Got a lovely upgrade, Caravan was spotless, swimming pool was great and changing rooms was lovely and clean. Reception staff was very helpful on arrival. Great prices in the bar. And the children's entertainment was fab my 5 year old made us go to the disco every night for 7 to join in with all the fab games and dances they did at night. Will certainly be returning for February half term next year.
