Been here for food, the mission course (pitch and put) and the driving range. Always had great hospitality and service. Brilliantly designed building. Highly recommended. I think the bar seating area needs a renovation and a jet wash on the glass of the balconies. Really lovely people. Played here twice when on holiday and both times all were very welcoming and helpful. Great course too! I'm not a golfer so this review is just clubhouse. We booked Sunday lunch, adult 2 course main/desert £15.95. Well worth it chicken, beef,pork + help yourself to veg. It was all very nice well worth the trip/money even though stuffing was bread crumbs ! As said not a golfer so can't comment on the course. Went to Glyn Abbey golf club for a celebratory Sunday lunch having been told how good it was. We weren't at all disappointed. Carol the chef and her team produced an amazing carvery and stunning homemade deserts. The bar and serving were extrtemely polite and amenable, comfortable seating area while we waited to be called to our table, no long queues, very well organized. Will definitely go again (soon). Sunday Lunch 🍽️ Full of Flavour with Homemade Cheesecakes and Pudding selection! - Beautiful Carvery - Three Selection of Meats: Pork, Beef&Turkey Crackling & Yorkshire Too! Variety of veggies such as: Stuffing, Carrots, Peas, Mashed Potato, Cabbage(full of flavour), Roasties, Suede&Carrot Mash. - Gravy and Side Sauces too! 100% would recommend!! Have had okay roast dinners from there before but £30 for two roast dinners and the quality was well below sub standard. Beef was like rubber, the gravy was runny and tasted off, and the yorkshire pudding was like an actual pudding. I wanted to like it as the are friendly. Great course, amazing and all round welcoming club to members and guests alike. We went for Sunday carvery. Food was excellent- really tasty with lovely home made dessert too. All of the were polite, friendly and efficient- really impressed Spent 3 nights with our caravan, had a brilliant stay, in the clubhouse were very welcoming and helpful, had cooked breakfasts 2 days running which were delicious. Golf course looked good, beautiful views from the 19th hole 🙂 Pitch was spacious and with water and dump station nearby. Didn’t use the toilets/shower as we are self contained . Clearly some updating works are in progress. We will stay again!
