Just buy a normal coffee!! Our second day in Wales, unable to find familiar coffee. At 4.52pm local time, we decided to drive 30 miles for a cuppa after a day of sightseeing. Splendid way to end a delightful Sunday. Went there around 2 weeks ago mid afternoon and it was really quiet , the car park almost empty - its a pity the staff didn't have the time or inclination to tell us we had to input our car number on a tablet which wasn't visible ! We were two of five in the caff, two staff chtting :( It was a REALLY nasty surprise when we got a fine for £51 (if we paid quickly) NOT going back there again . The cinnamon bun was expensive , pretty poor , tasteless and tough compared with Costa or anyone , might have been nice a week or two earlier ! Good quality drinks and food. Is a little bit pricy but nice food, pretty quiet if you just want to have a drink and a chat. Poor service. Slow. I said to the server 'that is my coffee'. She looked at it and carried on doing something else. 2 minutes later she passed it to me. There was no milk as asked. The other male service looked blankly when I asked where the milk is kept. After an awkward silence, he silently pushed a carton of milk to me and walked off. Very weird staff! Coffee was cold too Expensive expected it no atmosphere no music, just a place to go in have a expensive drinks. Not enamelled if Starbucks don't evolve they won't be many in the UK 🇬🇧 stop off point advantage on a roundabout but a place to keep calling can't see that.
