This beautiful starts at Carnlough harbour and crosses the main road over the bridge. It follows a linear path that takes you up to Gortin quarry, cliff faces, Cranny and magnificent views of Carnlough Bay. You need to allow 2 hours to cover everthing and appreciate the scenery. Great waterfall just outside of Cranlough. You can either use the free car park in the village and the mile up to the fall or drive up Waterfall Road, although it's a single road and only a couple of pull in's to park. The pathway is slippery in areas but it's a lovely view when you get there. What a lovely find. Easy parking and well laid to the falls. Great views all the way up. Super bursting over the rocks into a deep pool that had it not been hailing, we might have wild swum in. Lovely country walk. Better to park in town than using waterfall road. Not very busy. Parked in the carpark at the back of the housing estate, it's further than the signs about 2mile to the falls. The gate is locked put that doesn't stop you walking around it and to the falls. Just a short 1.5k from the coastal village of Carnlough, you will find the Cranny falls. The up to the is on a slight incline but it's do-able for most people. It's a nice way to spend an hour or so. The area was full of birds and insects. There were some rabbits in the fields so it's also good if you enjoy spotting the local wildlife. The themselves are pretty but couldn't be called spectacular but that's not the point. It's a nice country with something different at the end and that's good enough for me! This is such a lovely with the dog. Further up towards the quarry the sound of traffic fades to be replaced by birdsong and the sound of the waterfall. Lovely views of the sea and the coast. Why have i not been here before? The Cranny Fall is very easy. Perfect for a relaxing weekend stroll. It's not very crowded. A perfect for a short visit when travelling along the Coastway Scenic Route. Not that far from Belfast, so quite popular on a sunny weekend, but without crowds. Très dépaysant on se croirait sur une île tropicale ! Tried to see the today after seeing many reviews. I was terribly disappointed, - the GPS took me up a with the car with huge rocks at the end sealing off a walking track, and not an actual road. - after finding many car park signs, we went to the walks by foot, only to find the walking CLOSED, and the sign seemed very permanent. This was a total waste of time, however the up the old railway was nice. What can one say about here! Beautiful waterfall and a gorgeous up to it. Definitely visit it, you won'tbe disappointed! A lovely village to stop and get breakfast Some spot Petite balade très sympathique, facile d'accès et presque personne. 3km aller retour en partant du parking. Parked in village car park then 1.5km up gently sloping path to the falls. Notice says access to is closed but you can squeeze past the gate. are not spectacular but it was a nice way to kill an hour or two on our way back to the airport Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
