Beautiful, long sandy beach, perfect for a family day out. Very peaceful location with a boardwalk in the sand dunes. There's a good carpark opposite the golf club and public toilets. Real wee hidden gem of ards and North down. Short boardwalk to the from the car park, beautiful beach, and safe for a wee dip too. Toilets and water fountain available also. Great wee spot. Beautiful beach, quite stoney when the tide is in but massive sandy when the tide is out. The boardwalk between the dunes was a nice and good size carpark with toilets. Really good to chill out and watch the kids have fun Lots of to go around. Natural undisturbed not yet commercialised area for walking and enjoying fresh air of the Irish sea and wind. We did a volunteer two hour clean here with many others and really enjoyed this gem of a place on our own doorstep... Nice with shallow water. Good for walking the dog and having a paddle. The carpark is beside a kids play park. There is also a toilet block with a drinking water dispenser. It's also all free. This is my favourite with its, soft sand and clear water.. It's so peaceful, clean calm and beautiful. Nature at it's best hidden behind the sand dunes. On a good day you could think ur in the Caribbean.
