One of the best universities in Germany having 2 large campuses. There are lots of facilities for the international students. The faculty members are highly knowledgeable. University facilities is good, some professor is really good, others are nightmare; finding accommodation is really a problem, Avg room 325; the city is quite, clean, well-maintained, perfect for a study city; price is really good; hard to find Job without German knowledge, again it's quite city, don't expect active night life each weekend If you want to go throught lots of unregulated teachers and a complete and utter mess come to HSRW. There are 3 departments to help and they don't communicate with each other. It is an absolute joke how incapable they are. Don't forget the racism from professors! Maybe it's a cultural difference, but i still find their behaviour unacceptable. If I could leave 0 stars I would, so let's just say 1 star because the sun sets there are very pretty. The university does not care about the at all and protects only it's staff members even when they are wrong. So if you are planning to come here be prepared to be disappointed. One of the worst University in Germany, they are not organized and can't provide facilities for international students. Even when other University defer the semester for covid, they totally closed the semester while many international faced visa interview, and me also can't get the visa for their miss information. I would recommend that #boycott Rhine-Waal University. If you’re not privileged in anyway, don’t come to Hochschule Rhein Waal. They leave you alone with visa problems. My husband went through this before we married and I know a lot of others who suffer from this. The officials in Kleve try to make your life miserable and get rid of you and the Asta and Studentenwerk are useless.
