An ice rink, which isn't really anything exciting, and outside is a skatepark which is probably the best part of the place. Good bus and rail links nearby and a short walk from the seafront. closed due to storm damage. Supported gym classes excellent. Staff fantastic. Visited with my Son for swimming. Teaching is a great set up with the steps and lots of toys and floats to use. Free entry for under 5's was great. warm and accessible with plenty of space. Changing room and shower area has plenty space and not freezing, so there's no dread getting out the and getting changed doesn't feel rushed. Staff were great and all greeted us with a smile. Able to view the ice skating practise afterwards which was an added bonus for the wee one. Will be back for sure! It is a bit dated, but it was nice to see the ice rink busy! I wld like to see any faults repaired & to be kept open . As we cdn't even get into a last wk( Porto )with my autistic grandson who loves the calming effect of the water & he loves Harvey's . All other pools were full a bit of a disgrace actually. Couldn't even get through on telephone to Gallion Kilmarnock & were advertising open until 4 o'clock. Caused mayhem for kids when we were refused entry . Disgraceful. Has any work even started at Harvey's . Makes me question why I'm paying council tax . Think I,LL need a breakdown itemised bill as public path & stairs around my house don't even get cleaned . Disgraceful.
