It is very inexpensive, €13 for 1 adult, 1 small tent, and a motorcycle. Ok campsite, large with a pitch-where-you-want policy. Toilets are of sufficient quantity and are clean. Can be noisy near the playground but quiet at the other end. €20.40 for 2 adults in a van which is a fair price I think, and lots of walks to do in the area. It is let down by the fact that you need tokens for the showers, it’s €1 for about 4 minutes and one of the men’s showers is broken; which I found out after undressing, using a token, attempting to shower, swearing profusely, then dressing and going up to the bar to get a new token. The same happened the next day to another guy and to my knowledge they still haven’t put a sign up to tell people (why not just charge an extra €1 and get rid of the stupid tokens?). You also have to take your own toilet paper and soap, which means that when you walk past the bar on the way to loo you may as well be holding up a sign saying “I’m going for a poo!” We came to eat here after traveling in the area, was very tasty and the service was great. Thank you :) The location is beautiful, high mountains, close to a small lake and great for hikes. Reception not very polite and the camping was full and noisy till late at night. You have to pay for showers, no soap or toilet paper. Beautiful, panoramic setting at this campsite. You drive up a mountain road all the way to the site. It was 1600m above sea level which meant it was slightly cooler than in Aosta and no wasps. The site has a lake to swim in which was refreshing. There are BBQ spots around the lake which you can use. The bar had a great atmosphere and the restaurant was fantastic. Great value at both and superb food. You can get a good value coffee first thing in the morning and croissants, bread, etc. without ordering. There is also a deli on site which has meats, cheeses, etc. The staff were very attentive and helpful. Very nice toilet and shower block, underneath the restaurant. These were clean and well looked after. Only downsides were the pitch was quite stoney and so it wasn't very easy to put up our tent. However it was a flat pitch, which was good. And weren't a fan of the outdoor camps that they have there. We liked this region of Italy and Aosta was very nice to visit. Overall, a great stay and would definitely come back. This is a beautiful spot for camping. However, leaving 3 stars as this year I found the staff to be rude and not very welcoming. Also, the showers are on a paid meter but it ends up being a rip off as they mention at reception that it is €1 for 6min shower but it only seems to work with €2, if you put in €2 and the meters takes it but doesn’t give you water, you add another and it still only gives you 6min. It’s a bit of a rip off and something that should be addressed. The play ground is good and the place is always clean and tidy otherwise.
