Wonderful trails :) We didn’t have good weather but the ski resort is very nice Lovely little ski resort, 2 hours drive from Milan Malpensa. Very reasonably priced food in the mountain restaurants (much cheaper than France) and minimal queues for the lifts. Popular with (mostly English) school groups so quite a few beginner groups on the blue slopes. Just about enough pistes to keep intermediates interested for a week. Not many blue slopes but some of the reds were relatively easy (eg 2,9,14) and some harder (eg particularly 3 and 16 at the top). Blue 15 a good, wide beginner slope with a few steeper bits. Not many restaurants or shops in the town but enough for a short ski break and all good quality. Summer visit. Definitely worth taking and spending a few hours up the mountain. Stunning views. 8 euro for adult return, about 20 min Free parking at the bottom of the gondola. 20 minute ride up. Absolute chaos at the top but once you got higher up the mountain was ok. Great snowpark No wait, everything just perfect. Nice views in summer and easy way to get on top. 8€ to Pila, but keep in mind if you do not have a lot of time to hike, ski lifts adds another 16€. Takes very very long to buy your ticket!!! 30+ minutes!!! Only 1 cassier is open and the automatic distributors are not working. Such a shame! I do NOT recommend to go here in summer, there are plenty of other places around Aoste for hiking. Absolutely amazing, best experience of my life.
