Gifted a 2hr Boswell Estate for my 60th, absolutely experience. Ellie my guide was she rode beautiful Poppy I rode Staffa. I would Blackstone Clydesdales to anyone. Riding these beautiful big gentle giants through beautiful countryside was absolutely awesome Highly ! A GREAT experience. Very special riding out on these beautiful horses. I was on Spencer, gorgeous boy! I have ridden all my life but never a Clydesdale . The leader was and I am going to book up again soon. Had the best time today riding along Ayr with the Lucky! This has been on my bucket list every since I saw the Clydesdales on the many years ago, and it was every bit as as I'd imagined it. The were nice and responsive, the scenery (including the weather) was simply stunning, I could not have hoped for more! Thank you! Had a fab time on the ride. Glad to see that are fit and responsive, not your typical dead-to-the-leg plod along types I've seen elsewhere. Our group were able to happily switch up who was in front at different points of the ride, and did get to choose which we'd like at the start of we had a particular preference. I'd definitely come back, and also to try the other rides if I got the chance. We had the most wonderful on Saturday last week. The were all beautifully turned out. Each one suited to the riders based on information given before the ride. We mounted our and Holly our guide checked that we were all comfortable and happy before we set off. The was the power & speed of the was amazing. Holly our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and was happy to answer any questions we had. She is a credit to blackstone clydesdales. Would 100% a visit to anyone. I had a wonderful 3 day “Love my Clydesdale” at Blackstone Clydesdales over Easter weekend - I got to on the farm, at the park, at the and at Rozelle estate. I also learned to drive single and double Clydesdales. I had been bucked off a 2 days before arriving so was bruised and nervous, but the team took such good care of me I cannot wait to go back! The folks at the couldn’t have been better - so friendly and welcoming, flexible and adaptable with plans and good fun to be around. John, Magi, Hanna and Bailey really went above and beyond to make sure I got the most of my 3 days! My enjoyment and safety were high in the priority list, and when I was sore on the third day, the team couldn’t have done more to change plans from riding to driving and I couldn’t be more grateful for their care and professionalism! I’ve been riding for a while but it’s always been a dream to spend time with BIG like these Clydesdales. Their welfare and wellbeing is clearly the first priority - the has kept that are retired, older or injured and cares for them carefully to keep them happy and healthy. The social stabling allows interaction even during cold winters indoors. Each has their own character and they’re happy enough to let it shine! I tried so hard to learn the names of all ~34 on site, babies and teenagers, pregnant mares, working and retired horses, but definitely wouldn’t pass an exam. Clydesdales are wonderful - big and powerful, yes, but so gentle. They’re just enormous cuddly dogs. I rode Dutchess and Lucky, drove Alfie (solo) plus Spencer and Arthur (double). I had opportunities to turn out, to brush and groom and pamper several (big Clyde dozing off as I brushed his tail was pretty special) and feed them - they told me I was their new bestie. Just a little bit of hard-work and heaven. Also on the - several peacocks, chickens, geese and ducks (I’m glad there’s no video of me “helping” herd ducks), 4 of the cutest pigs I’ve ever met, Highland Coos… I’m sure I’ve forgotten something 🤣 I stayed in the available farmhouse accommodation and it was GORGEOUS. I had my own large comfortable bedroom, an adjacent bathroom to myself with an enormous walk in shower and freestanding tub PLUS a conservatory/ lounge stocked with snacks and drinks. Was wonderful to stay on the - I only had to leave for meals! Da vinci’s cafe and 1906 restaurant would both be spots to check out! Cannot Blackstone Clydesdales enough, cannot wait to go back! Its quite clear how well loved & looked after these beautiful clydesdales are. Had a hour's on Staffa accompanied by Bailey on Poppy. A comfy, chilled out and would highly for any level of rider. Third year in a row we’ve travelled up from Cambridge to do this ride, also did the tour this year. are amazing, Abe my this year was so lovely, forward going but I felt so safe. The couple who own the have a really passion for the Clydesdale and you can see how content all the are on the tour. Would to anyone, they will have a to suit no matter what your ability place! The people, the animals and the itself. The animals are so well looked after and loved. It was a wonderful afternoon. We will definitely return! My wife, daughter and I visited Blackstone Clydesdales a year ago, April 2024 and since that day I have been wanting to write a review, which I rarely do. It is 50 weeks since we went and it is still fresh on our minds. My wife and daughter rode these majestic monsters, while I, with limited (no skills) got to do cuddle time - i had to do something... BEST EVER!!!! It was a virtual fantasy to be able to pet these friendly animals and little ones too who just finished weening. they all came up to me (and daughter when she was done riding) and we got to feed them carrots which they were of course happy to have. The owners were fantastic people and made the out of this world with the rapport, guidance and fun banter as this American struggled a couple times to make it past his brogue :D. I'm sure my Boston accent didn't help. i would absolutely do this again without skipping a beat, and my wife and daughter feel the same. When my daughter, who just turned 11, heard me tell my wife i was writing a review on Blackstone, lit up wanting to see if the she rode was still there. Great memories were made that day for all!! Highly recommended!!! My wife in the picture is 5'8" for a reference of these awesome animals size. Absolutely amazing! I did the ride. The Clydesdales were lovely, and well behaved. Paulie, my guide, was very friendly and engaged in good conversation, but didn't feel like she had to fill the quiet spaces either, when I was just enjoying the scenery. The was beautiful, we got to go through the water, we saw swans, and lots of jelly fish, and a ruined castle. Can't highly enough!
