This was my last course and it fully test my skills. Strong headwind on front nine impossible score for me. However back nine it helped a lot. Good quality and variety of holes. Quite fast greens. Great views. Love the halfway house. Definetely top 3 of my trip. Hole 14 signature hole for me. Nice Golf course⛳️👀 With Good history Set on the Coastline In a Nice area. Nairn is ranked in the top 50 courses in UK and Ireland and is a must visit for all Golfers. The course is incredible, the clubhouse has superb facilities and Nairn two itself is a beauty! There is an archive room that can be visited with a prior appointment, I'd highly recommend it too!! 5 stars!! This was the first course my friends and I went to play while visiting Scotland for whisky and golf. From the moment we stepped into the clubhouse and enjoyed the incredible views from this historical, seaside club, we knew we had made the right choice. The service was outstanding from the moment we arrived. But it was the course itself that had my friends and I relishing every moment. The historic ice house you visit for refreshments as you circle toward the back nine is very special, too. If you’re even a rare golfer and near this club, be sure not to miss The Nairn Golf Club. You’ll be glad you did. One of the best courses I've played in Scotland, loved every hole. Not only is the course challenging each hole feels different so it is a very entertaining round. The course is stunning with many holes giving a beautiful view of the bay. Can't rate this course higher and excellent day of golf and would love to return one day to play again. The Nairn Golf Club is a classic Highland links course that delivers authenticity, challenge, and charm in equal measure. Set along the Moray Firth, the course offers stunning coastal views from nearly every hole. The front nine hugs the shoreline, with the sea constantly in play and the wind demanding strategic shot-making. The back nine turns slightly inland, with tighter fairways and subtle elevation changes. The layout is fair but tests every aspect of your game—particularly your ability to control ball flight in the breeze. Conditioning is excellent, with firm, fast-running fairways and true, quick greens. While less talked about than nearby Castle Stuart or Royal Dornoch, Nairn holds its own with heritage and character. It hosted the 1999 Walker Cup, a testament to its championship pedigree. Nairn is a welcoming club with a warm, traditional Scottish atmosphere—and a round here feels like a true pilgrimage for lovers of pure links golf. Great course close to Inverness and very friendly staff. You reserve a tee time online which is very convenient. It's a true links course and has a great design. The halfway house good with toilets, food and drinks. We had great weather in August. This may have been my favorite course in Scotland (although I've only played 3). The history is amazing; be sure to ask for the 30 minute tour of their clubhouse with old relics and mementos. The gorse was in bloom which made it so much more scenic. The half way house after the 9th hole has so much character. I wouldn't hesitate to play this again in the future.
