As golfers we always try to use golf clubs even when not playing as we find them friendly and great value for money, food usually very good. This was no exception. Very nice clubhouse, warm welcome by bar manager. Great exchanging stories. Definitely recommend if you passing. Great clubhouse. Friendly staff in clubhouse and pro shop. Well laid out course in condition. Lovely par 3's.Good greens. Passed the golf course, looking Quick drop by this historic golf links currently hosting their annual festival golf week. Course looked in immaculate condition and listening to the competitors it was presentng a great experience and challenge. I hope one day I may have the opportunity to enjoy this event myself. The pro shop was welcoming and offered a range of products and services. After 10 weeks of ankle injury I was looking forward to my first outing of the year. Nairn Dunbar did not disappoint. Very friendly and helpful staff ensured the day got off to a great start. Glorious sunshine after a week of rain. Underfoot was fine. Links courses drain well in the main. Pity the golf wasn't as good. Played about 9 holes late, but it was fun. We rented clubs and I got a set of Pings! Fabulous course which would have been better if we got there a week earlier before they cored the greens ahead of winter. The local members made the day a pleasure while going around the course. Nice place to hangout Great place for walking when Tide is out Played in July 24 (not hot year). Interesting layout and fun course to play, however happy I played a discounted twilight round as would have been dissapointed if paid the full £100 fee. 4 course rating for all abilities and varied layout and challenge for each hole. Green where ture and fairly moderate pace. Greens where all in condition and bunkers good. Down sides, dry patched on fairways and starting burn out, if was hot summer it would be a very hard ground. The tees where divoted up a bit. For £35 for a 5pm tee off it was valve, for £50 for 3pm fair. Wouldn't recommend at £100. Fantastic course and firnsdlt staff Great welcome from the Pro and members alike. Great course, challenging but fair. Straight into my Top 10 UK Courses for sure Course was in great shape and pace of play was fantastic. Course layout was fun, but be sure and stay out of the thistle or you’ll be hard hunting for your ball! Members and staff were friendly and helpful, you can tell they take pride in their course! Fun merch in the pro shop as well as quality rental clubs. Would definitely play another round here if I was in the area again.
