The combined shower, toilet, wash area units are fabulous and such a nice treat after a few days on the road. The pub (around a 5 min walk) is excellent, good beer and wine, with superb food. Definitely a go to location. Gary (Manager) and his good lady are superb hosts - many thanks from Andy and Sue. Gary was an outstanding host for our 1st night on the NC500 trip anticlockwise..the shower facilities are by far the best, heated, so clean and all individually set up as an ensuite! The kitchen was so clean and welcomed as we didnt have a microwave in our hired Motorhome. The river that our pitched was on was the most perfect white noise for a great nights sleep. Garry also mentioned a walk which was spectacular, the Black Rock Gorge, never in my life have I seen something so unique in a natural landscape. The forest on the way tonthe Gorge was so fresh and the autumn colours popped. Definitely recommend a stop over here for a night, or two!!
