I haven't played golf here, I'm not a golfer. But we had a group meal here for about 35 of us. The staff, food and ambience were all very good. Highly recommended. The golf course is looking absolutely wonderful. It plays very tricky for people who visit it for the first time. The greens look amazing but are a lot slower than they look. They run pretty tour and are smooth, but a little slow. The golf course itself is a great experience to play and I am sure when they have the national team club Championship there next week from the 1st of August until the 4th of August the teams will enjoy a fabulous challenge. The club house and var area is very nice and the food supplied and cooked by Paula was wonderful. All in all, we had a lovely time, and we were very well looked after by the team captain of the Wayfarers, Martyn, and his guys. It was a great course to be visiting. What a gem of a place Morlais Castle GC is,had a round there yesterday with my son.course to be fair was in outstanding condition fairways and greens perfectly manicured.Absolutely Stunning.If you have never played here give it go you will not be disappointed.Scenery is spectacular.Staff really friendly to. Went there yesterday for a Bowls dinner. Fabulous venue with a lovely meal. Checked online banking today and rather concerned that I paid £2.90 (did think this excessive for a pint of soda) for first drink and 90p for the next !!! However, this did not distract from the overall venue. The views driving in are absolutely stunning, what a wonderful place to play golf. If you’re having a bad day on the green the views will make up for it. Would highly recommend joining or maybe visit for a game. Would definitely return, thank you A very versatile function room,great for a wedding reception 😀 The course is well maintained and had fantastic views of the Merthyr Valley. Breakfast roll and a coffee was a nice start to the day too.... 👌 Had a lovely lunch with friends yesterday, we go to the club for food quite regularly, and a always have great service from friendly staff , and fab food from a varied menu , would thoroughly recommend Had a lovely meal with friends to celebrate a Birthday at the Morais Golf Club. I would definitely recommend it. Excellent service all round ,good food,good welcome Also they hosted two funerals for my family and it was done with such style. Made better with the County Card that gets you green fees down from £25 to £15 but it’s still worth the £25!! We had our wedding party here last weekend and it was absolutely perfect!
