Heard about this on the news, so decided to pay a visit as we were on holiday in the area(Coniston) What a super show! It helped the weather was good, we expected rain by 3pm, it came in at 4pm. Lots of great stalls, and food to eat, events and stuff in the main ring, I love a County Show (Royal Cornwall) and this one was certainly up there! A great day out!! A fantastic day at The Westmorland County Show! I had a brilliant time attending the show today. The weather was dramatic—swinging between torrential downpours and glorious sunshine more times than I could count—but it didn’t dampen the experience. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, with so much to see and do. I especially enjoyed visiting the animal exhibits and sampling the delicious local food. The Sheep Show was a definite highlight—entertaining and informative! Entry and parking were impressively well-organised, making the whole day run smoothly. Overall, it was a wonderful event and I’d absolutely go again. Highly recommended for foodies and anyone who loves the countryside. The Westmorland County Showground is a purposely finished show ground that hosts the Westmorland County Show as well as many other events throughout the year. Firm surfaces, finished roads, and utilities. The Showground is set up properly. I have visited as both a trade exhibitor and visitor to events - and it always feels fit for purpose! Easy access and good parking management Great agri show. Plenty of stuff to do and see. Always good if they rain holds off, which it did until about half 4. Busy but plenty of room for everyone. Food hall with loads of local produce to buy. Craft tents and lovely bespoke local arts and crafts. Visited Westmorland County Agricultural Show - great venue, lovely people and loads of parking (though was on a steep grassy hill so a 4x4 recommended!) And the Show was magical .. Total retro car show fantastic event Cracking day, loads of different things to see and different stalls to look at. Food for any tastes and plenty of seating if needed. And managed to see it all with the 🌞on us.
