A and well kept site. With a good sized pitch. Perfect to in to Haro or to follow the Rioja route. Nice welcome on arrival, with a no fuss registration. Plenty of water points . Indoor pool is more of a very large jacuzzi. Site has a small shop and bar/ restaurant. Haro has lots of small shops and plenty of restaurants and bars. Nice campsite by the river and a 20 minute or so into the lovely town. The site is well kept, and tidy. Variety of different size pitches but generally lots of space. Good bar/restaurant on site. Look forward to going back. We generally do not like big campsites next to towns, but this one turned out to be an exception. Well maintained, spotless sanitary facilities and plenty of everything. Friendly staff manning a reception that is open till late, a nice shop/restaurant/bar and a great pool. All of this on walking distance from the Bodegas and the town itself. We stayed much longer than planned!! Great location for Haro and the Rioja wineries. An open air pool and one in a solarium, for cooler days. (The open air one was closed in late September, when we went.) Good, facilities with easy to use washing machines ages tumble dryers. Nice sized pitch, with bush/tree borders offering some privacy. Lovely campsite, mostly level pitches with hedges and pollarded trees, nice landscaping. Good facilities blocks, heated, plenty of hot water etc. Shower stalls have recently been renovated. Summer pools including a new big covered one currently being built. Nice views of the surrounding hills. 10 minute into Haro centre, 15 min to mercadona, brilliant location. Lots of walks from site. Great campsite for families and groups too. Definitely worth more than a 1 night stopover as there's lots to see and do. We stayed 3 nights last year around the Battle of the Vino, and a week this year over Easter to see the excellent semana santa processions. 10 min into town. 10 minute to all the Bodegas. Site is good, there’s a great bar/restaurant. Reception was helpful as we had no reservation. The toilets and showers were and tidy. We visited the Muga bodega for lunch but there were no tickets for the tour available. Next time we’ll book in advance. We will definitely be back when we are in the area Second stay at Haro, and another enjoyable stay. The site does all the right things, tidy pitch, very toilet facilities and excellent pool area (including one for kids) Plenty of eating options in time (allowing for the non-posted opening hours!)
