The place is very spacious and it has a nice ambiance. Definitely a good stop en route to or from the border. It's busy but the staff was very efficient despite the crowd. Our waitress was very nice and courteous. She helped us with the menus in Romanian and was very patient. The food came out quickly and while the portions were ok, the quality could have been better. However, for a quick stop to quickly eat something, it was alright. Overall, a sturdy recommendation. Sadly, not the best experience. Slow service, located too close to a national road with noisy HGVs and pollutions from cars. A place where you can eat good food at decent prices. The noise coming from the road traffic can be high, but this did not bother us much, since we did not stay for long. Unbelievable. Not a fast food. I ordered smoked trotters, based on the menu should have been 500grams. I could eat only about one third and took home the rest. Measured it and it was still 770g. I am not giving 5 stars because it is too much. Would be better with smaller quantities and lower prices. Food and service was ok. Beautifully decorated place, good food (great prices), and very friendly staff. They also have the cutest dog! We stopped for lunch on our way home to Hungary, choose the restaurant randomly and it turned out to be a very good place. The menu is only in Romanian, but the lady was super nice and explained everything in mixed English - Hungarian, all smiley and kind and helpful. The food was tasty and huge, the desserts were all great!
