The hotel is very beautiful, but the service and communication from the staff is bad, the card payment did not work, if there was no cash, we would have been left without accommodation in the middle of the night. Payment of the check was not received. The food is ok, but takes too long to prepare :). Since 2011, we are stopping here every time we pass by... I disliked the fact that busses stop here. And all the people than, form a queue at the toilet :) Also, regarding the service, i disliked that the lady that 'cleans' the tables uses the same piece of cloth, witgout any dissinfectant. And than, she throws the cloth piece, near the tables, at the window base. Afterwards, she takes it again, to clean another table, and so on :) The waitress was quite rude and did not speak a single word in English. Every time when she did not understand something she got upset and started shouting even though we were really patient with her and tried to explain everything slowly, even pointing on the menu to help her. She got my soup order wrong and tried to convince me that it was my mistake, even though I showed her my choice on the menu. Everyone at our table ordered the same and surprisingly mine was the only different, so I couldn't even give her the wrong order... We ate a mititei as well, but it was unbearably spicy and dry, and the soup was just boring and not well seasoned. At the end the waitress was so nice that she billed the more expensive soup, so there's no chance that I'll ever come back. When we drive through Romania we always stop to eat there. The food is cheap for european standards. Locals eat and meet there too, the atmosphere is vibrant. Good food and service. Very good price quality. Very friendly staff. Don’t forget to try the homemade desserts. Interesting the choice of wines. One of the best espressos on the road. Every time we stop here we know that the food will be first class. And indeed they never disappoint. The staff is OK too. No complaints.
