Used to be station on the USS Lasalle 1996-1999 and Rendez Vous was our second home, the best coffee, drinks and best sandwiches...i really miss this place. Latin Mafia. A nice American style bar. Food is amazing. Burgers are one of the best we have ever had. Drinks are generous. Drawback is like everywhere in Gaeta at dinner time you have to make a reservation. Western (American) styled menu. Most of the staff speaks English the bartender/owner speaks perfect English and EVERYONE is a pleasure to be around. The food is without a doubt, hands down the best Western food around. The service is phenomenal and reasonably timed. It’s definitely busier the later the night gets. All around great experience every time. I really like this place, it gives you a real American vibe and it is very cozy. Food is not expensive and very good, cocktail are finally real cocktails! In standard bar in Italy it is hard to find good bartenders that prepares you good cocktails but this place have very good bartenders because cocktails are super! If you plan going there during weekend you should go early or book. Love this place when i was station in gaeta between 2001 2004. All the bartender were always nice and made me and other shipmates feel welcome there. It was our home away from home. The food went great with the alcoholics beverages we use to drink there or without. Missing the states, then this place is the closest to the states restaurant with the burgers. Fries are amazing, in my opinion. Reasonably priced. Service is kinda slow when busy. What a fun and unique place to go for an American twist in Italy on burgers, chicken and the sloppy joe!
