There is also a pub called the red lion which is also dog friendly that also dog meals so your fur babies aren't left out for lunch. The play area for the children is great, plenty of spaces on the floor to sit by the water and lots of benches scattered around. Parking on the road side, there is also several car parks in a short walking distance. Brilliant day out! around park, close to little town. Overall place to visit Went with Grandchildren, who absolutely loved the park. They enjoyed waking around the with the dog and had a picnic on the grass. Toilet facilities available but nothing special. Great day out. A great place to go as a family, we enjoy the mere and all of its wildlife along with the sculptures and Bee hotel. There is a nice ice cream hut perfect on a hot day and a coffee hut near the playground for refreshments.
