Παραλία Κίσσαμος

Kissamos, Greece Tourist attraction

Frequently mentioned in reviews: Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. This is a half-pebble and a half sandy with a great view, but somehow it appears to be neglected and is kept untidy. I hope the town of Kissamos could make some effort in order to attract tourists and beach-goers. It may not be a great as other sandy beaches, but it is generally sheltered, and there is free parking and plenty of tavernas. Turquoise water, beautiful swims and amazing views On the outskirts of Kissamos, you’ll find a few local, unpretentious where you can sunbathe and swim on days when you don’t have the time (or simply the mood) for a longer trip to the area’s famous beaches: Balos, Falassarna, Gramvousa, or even Elafonissi (the last one being about an hour’s drive away). The are laid out as follows: At the end of the taverna area, facing the sea, to the right lies the large municipal with both rocks and sand. The water near the shore is shallow, making it safe for children. In this area lies the wreck of a ship that sank a few years ago (I believe in 2022), and tourists can explore it with kayaks. The is equipped with a few cabanas, a shower, and a lifeguard station. At its far end begins Nopigia Beach, which is a good place for snorkeling. On the left side of the taverna area, the shore becomes rocky, with that are good for snorkeling but unsuitable for children or for tourists who can’t swim. These start with Mavros Malos and continue, with interruptions, beyond the port. When the wind picks up, the waves become very large (as you can see in some photos), and swimming is not possible. The tavernas along the shore are fairly inexpensive compared to other parts of the island, though it’s worth checking reviews before choosing one, as not all of them serve good food. Nearby, you can also see the ruins of a Venetian castle, though sadly, only a few fragments of its walls remain. Sand and pebbles, water runs deep quikly and tends to be wavy. Showers, changong booth and lifeguard on the beach. When we visited it had no umbrellas installed. Kto nie był niech jedzie Bajka! A rocky local right on the center of the large claw of both peninsulas. The view is geographical. We walked a few meters after bathing to the cellar and had a perfect afternoon lunch for 6. Local. Lovely. No fuss. Great waves and water held in the very hand of nature. Our favourite Wonderful in a bay surrounded by mountains! Not too many people in the afternoon so it was nice and quiet.. Sandy .some rocks..free parking..not crowded ..cafes...loved it The beste place to be, Molos restaurant best food and service. Ein sehr schöner kleiner griechischer Ort. Perfekt wenn man abseits vom Massentourismus seinen Urlaub genießen möchte. Ein schöner Sandstrand mit zum Teil schwarzen Kieselsteinen gemischt.
