There are rocks shelfs here that are very slippery. While I did see people further out, unless you really trust yourself as a swimmer, I would not recommend doing that. On the far left side, by the cliffs is a large natural pool that is no deeper than a few feet. It's a wonderful float, wade, or even sit. This is not your standard beach, but instead a quiet retreat for those who want more nature and peace rather than sand and craziness. Fantastic with an amazing drive down the hillside.
