Great wee well used park with putting, tennis and a small boating lake plus a large play area. Visited today 01/03/2022 and the boating pond which was emptied last year due to blossom was being re filled at last. Noticed the lovely newish carved wood birds and animals. Nice amenities train rides only a pound brings back memories pics shown from hill across at grave yard. Nice Park for families. I've been twice now especially for the hot air festival. Beautiful, all prepared for the festival . No litter Grass cut to perfection A great place for the and grown ups Good Park. Enjoyed the ducks in the pond. Lots of dogs. Lots to do in the summer. Attended the hot air festival. Was very enjoyable - traffic becomes extremely congested so get there early. Well kept and beautifully maintained park. Play area for the kids. Lovely Stream running through it. Miniature ride-along Steam trains. We went there to the Hot Air Festival. Great day out. Didn't get chance to look around the village but what we did see was pretty. Varieties of fun zones for reasonably priced. Attractions suitable for different age groups from vintage cars to playzones. Live music and artists by the hot air zone, variety of eataries are few to name. Get there in plenty time as parking lot was full just after midday. Friendly neighbourhood sorted out the grid lock traffic hats off to them. Few even offered parking space in their front yard such a great community. Overall good family fun day out. Visited strathhaven for the air festival which was really good plenty of stalls and food and lots too do for children and adults like animal experiences ,rides etc .will go again. Also had a walk around strathhaven it's a nice place. Nice clean and tidy park. Only been once to see the Hot air festival and I will be back Great night with the family at the Hot Air event. Good crowd, lots to do for the but dreadful jazz music. This was such a great experience to see all this colourful hot air balloons. There was plenty attractions for kinds and food trucks too. Highly recommended Great place to get your dog off-lead for a runaround and a dip in the burn.
