Milarrochy Bay, located on the eastern shore of Loch Lomond, is a picturesque spot known for its stunning natural beauty. The bay offers an ideal setting for outdoor activities like hiking, paddle boarding, and picnics, with magical views of the loch and surrounding mountains. Its tranquil atmosphere makes it a great escape for nature lovers. There are also convenient facilities, including parking, toilets, and rubbish bins, which make visiting more comfortable. The area is rich with wildlife and during certain seasons, you can enjoy picking wild berries. The iconic lone tree at the bay adds to the scenic charm, making it a popular spot for photography. Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat, a place to enjoy watersports, or simply a stunning backdrop for a barbecue, Milarrochy Bay has something to offer. The combination of natural beauty and well-maintained facilities makes it a must-visit for anyone exploring Scotland ♥️ Picturesque spot which my family enjoyed visiting, however I don't think I would return. We arrived on a sunny Sunday afternoon and the road was complete chaos. There was no traffic management and cars were stuck for a long time. We could not actually get through to where we had planned to park, therefore had to leave the car at the side of the road alongside about 300 others as we had already wasted over 30mins waiting in a queue. When we returned every single car had been issued a £100 parking fine (£50 if you pay quickly), so just beware of this, and perhaps going at a less busy time would be advised. The beach was nice, however it is a pebble beach, so very uncomfortable trying to get in for a swim unless you have some appropriate footwear. Mother Nature and water all around. So peaceful. Loch Lomond! Perfect places for sunset in the summer time. People tend to barbecue here, also there is a plenty of parking spots often used by caravans. Free toilets Stunning view. Available toilets. Beach with stones not sand. Lovely place. My 2 girls enjoyed the afternoon. Good free car park. Lots of people cayaking. Absolutely stunning. Hidden away and it's worth the drive. Nice and peaceful with amazing views. I love this place especially because it has everything you need. Toilet, rubbish bins, parking, a place for hiking, great atmosphere, loch and mountains, paddle boarding and barbecue. I love this place for the nature, the berries around you and for the incredible beauty of this place. Love you, Scotland 💙🏴 Amazing place, visit here to launch my paddle board Car park gets busy in the good weather so get there early Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
