This place supposed to be a bank building, but in the 80s, during the excavation work for the bank foundation the builders discovered these very beautiful mosaics. I am really glad that the authorities at the time decided to preserve everything and to build a instead of a bank. This is truly amazing and was one of the highlights of my trip to Bulgaria.
