What did you like the most? For those of you who haven't yet, "Historical Park" is the first of its kind cultural and complex, located 33 km from Varna in the village of NeofitRilski. I saw👀 household items, weapons and dwellings, chronologically arranged through the Chalcolithic and Neolithic eras, Ancient Thracians, Slavs and Proto-Bulgarians. Another unique thing about the place is the fact that guests can try authentic dishes made from recipes from the past. 👏 very good, educational and recreational activity. perfect for families, students and culture / lovers. lots of sportive attractions. The was gorgeous, well built, and beautifully maintained. The tour was incredibly insightful for our whole group, and everyone was patient and accommodating when it came to our disabled family member. Highly recommend making a drive out to this hidden gem, there is clearly a lot of work that has been and is continuously put into ensuring the rich is preserved and thought in a way that’s interesting to visitors of any ages. Very well maintained, beautiful scenery, lots of attractions. Also the food at the coffee shop was delicious. Guides were available all over the place at pretty decent prices for an info tour. Shame that the fortress was not finished. Will visit again! There was archery , horse riding and medieval battles, but It was off season so these were not available. I must have taken over 50 pictures and there's enough to do during the week or at theme weekends when there are people who are dressed up as ancient Bulgarians. The buildings are breathtaking and the guides are really knowledgeable. Nicolai's knowledge was amazing and being dressed periodically correctly made his story even more believable. Its amazing place🤍💚❤️.You can start your journey throught Bulgarian from there i hightly recomend it.Varna airport is very near by.It will tell and show you the dation 10 000 years.Food is amazing and natural and the place itself is very clean,you can see all the stars in the night,its magical. It's still being built but when it is finished it Will be a fantastic place in my opinion. Right now there are no cards with some information but hopefully they will ad it in the future. This grandiose project takes its visitors on a journey back in when the old inhabitants of nowadays Bulgaria lived. One can see replicas of dwellings unfolding one after another the layers of the thousands-of-years old of this land. All the artefacts are well organized and unveil the mystery of the local rituals and beliefs. We could see that many more exhibits had been planned, so hopefully, very soon the story of the Bulgarian statehood itself will be told as well.
