Very good tourist information centre in the main square, Derry. The staff are friendly and will answer any questions you have. There's visual displays, a gift shop and a Pickled Duck cafe on site. Interesting place to pop into, if you're on holiday or from Derry city. Staf are very helpfull and friendly, and its shop is very good. Didn't get a chance to spend v long in Derry. Too cautious of stores with too few masks and crowds. The city walls are well worth a walk as you look across the Bogside at the murals. I will be back🙏🕊. There just a vouple of days before the death of the wonderful peacemaker John Hume. Derry is one cool city, especially the Derry Walls. To think of all the trouble that has happened here. It has some great history. It has some very cool little alley ways and some good shopping. A must see. Check out some of our pictures Awesome place... Has a lot of Irish souvenirs. They also put a northern Ireland stamp in our passport for one pound, just for a rememberance. A member of staff gave me information about how to access the walls with a wheelchair and I appreciate that deeply because I wouldn't have wanted to miss it Well stocked with souvenirs and staffed by wonderful people who are happy to answer all your questions. I’m grateful for the Visitor Center and its team. They’re very knowledgeable, and there’s a wealth of information available about Derry/Londonderry and the surrounding area. Thank you for being such a helpful and welcoming resource for visitors! We called in at the Visitor Information Centre whilst on a day trip to Derry. The gentleman there and his staff were so helpful, even phoning to find out something for us. The Centre is stocked with reasonably priced souvenirs ( and we’d seen some expensive ones in the area). We all came out agreeing ‘what a great place !’. Thank you for making our day. 3 retired ladies.
