As part of our in the Netherlands, we wanted to spend some time getting to experience the Dutch countryside in a beautiful setting. De Vijf Suites definitely exceeded our expectations! Wil met us with tea and a tour when we arrived and provided outstanding breakfasts each morning (accommodating my gluten and dairy allergies better than any B&B I've been to). The inn is as spectacular as the pictures online - with really spacious and comfortable rooms. The gardens and lounge areas outside were fantastic. I enjoyed the use of the infrared sauna to relax at the end of a day using their rental e-bikes to explore the surrounding area. We visited a charming historic village with lots of restaurants and shops on our bike ride. Overall, it was a great and I'd highly recommend it! We found our at 'De Vijf Suites' an exceptional experience and welcomed escape from the city. Just a quick 2 hour drive from Amsterdam, we found ourself blissfully relaxed as soon as we arrived. Suite 2 was fabulous, with a free standing bath and a cosy fire right outside our door (shared between the suites). Both Wil, Ruthy (and their son) were the kindest hosts offering *exquisite* food for breakfast and the optional dinner. The walks nearby were wild and unique, we were lucky enough to have stayed when it snowed which made it all the more magical. We would definitely recommend a here, with friends, family or as a romantic weekend for 2. We shall definitely return in the future. We had a fantastic at De Vijf Suites. A beautiful property set in a tranquil location. The rooms are clean and luxurious with all the amenities needed. The breakfast was amazing - fresh and varied.
