Lots of parking available too. The newly refurbished look great, and there are plenty of lockers available (don't forget to get a token from reception). The reception staff were very helpful, and even let us try a swim vest on one of the before we bought it to make sure it fitted right. In the there are three slides, the large blue one for bigger and adults, a snake for up to age 8, and a very small elephant for toddlers. Wave machine comes on every 30 mins or so, and is lots of fun! Especially like that the depth of the is graduated all the way to the shallow end. We also had lunch in the cafe and paid £1.50 per child for the pirate ship soft play area. All round good value for a few hours out! Pool is lovely and warm as is the general air of the room. The is a gradual decent into the deep end so almost like a beach (no steps) which is perfect for little ones to toddle in. There is a spectators area with seats and tables The felt clean and there were plenty of them (although we had a short wait for a large cubicle but not overly long considering it was the school holidays and the was at capacity) There is loads of free parking outside. The lockers take old style pound coins or a pound token (like you would use for a trolley) you can buy these at reception. The reception has a small shop behind (we needed to purchase goggles and a they also had some costumes and noodles etc) Upstairs is a cafe which looked reasonably priced but we didn't use it and a small soft play area. My only comment would be it was very very busy and I wonder if maybe the capacity numbers are a little on the high side during school holidays. The water had visible bits floating in it—possibly paint chipping off the walls—and the floor of the looked dirty. It didn’t feel hygienic or well-maintained. One of the biggest issues was the lack of cubicle showers. All showers are wall-mounted in an open area, which makes it very difficult to get properly clean after being in the pool. Most people don’t want to undress and shower in a completely public space after in water that already felt unclean. On a more positive note, the lockers were a good size and the were spacious, which helped with getting everyone ready. It was also extremely busy, which added to the overall feeling of discomfort.
