Plenty of food and drink offers. Food always excellent and hot and tasty. always and helpful. Two meals, out of three, bun toasted or under lamp to long sausage was'nt great. Not a steak either, tasty mushrooms First round of drinks, tea pots were just 1/2 full of hot water, not even cup and 1/2 Had a burger with a client and the food was good enough, it was a little quiet at the and a push for table - which after a few minutes of logging in and accepting various conditions was straight forward enough but we wish we had just got up and ordered lol The are always very helpful the food was served very quickly and tasted Food ok, can be pretty pricey. Came here yesterday morning, Monday 30th December at 11am . I popped here for some early lunch on a date , we both enjoyed the food and felt very welcome during our visit. Our experience at Marstons establishments has always been quite consistent, and this one was no exception. WiFi easily accessible outdoors, QR code on the table, worked seamlessly with Apple pay. Food promptly delivered. Pizza was delicious and immediately demolished. Halloumi fries were excellent, crispy on the outside, soft and not chewy inside. Come here today at 3pm and was told Sunday dinner's had run out! It's 3 pm on a sunday afternoon and no Sunday dinner's?? Very poor in my opinion. Waiting was bad as waited 50 mins before food arrived, we had 2 drinks each before meal came. No Guinness available. Ordered steak and it was the worst steak I've ever had, it was awfully chewy. Garlic bread was burnt and had a southern fried chicken burger which was meant to come with chicken gravy but came with beef gravy, was slow and it was not even busy. Very disappointed and won't be returning in the near future. We went twice over 2 days. The food was nice, and the were lovely. Everything was smooth both times. The pub is very and has a really nice atmosphere. The decorations for Halloween were great, they’ve gone to a lot of effort. The food was lovely. I had steak as it was steak night on Thursdays. It was really nice. It was a meal for my sons 18th. I had booked for 12 of us and 15 turned up but was no problem for the staff. The cake was brought out with candles lit at the appropriate and nothing was too much bother. Everyone loved all their food which is amazing with my very picky family. I can't think the enough!! The experience was nothing short of amazing! The were incredibly helpful, polite, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and well looked after. We ordered the Sunday roast, and it was absolutely delicious, generous portions, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing meal.Highly recommend Plas Coch for anyone looking for food and exceptional service. We’ll definitely be back! Went in today three meals out of four were but one was awful the pie was badly cooked you could not even cut it was that tough such a shame as the other 3 meals were good. We did say something the waiter responded we will tell the "chef" 👍🏻 no discount or anything..... oh and we was only allowed a 2 hour slot 🙄 half 2 in the afternoon Me and my friend went today, we had our drink brought by somebody who doesn’t even work there and it took 2 hours for our food to arrive and all the tables around us had been and gone. We asked for our to be cancelled so they said they will bring it straight out when it’s ready rather than cancel it like we asked. When it arrived the cheese wasn’t even melted on the burger, we ordered a bacon cheeseburger and looked down in disbelief as we seen the one pathetic slither of bacon on our burgers. We both ate 2 bites and decided to spare our stomachs the burden of the rest of it. Our server didn’t come up to us to ask us how our food was probably deterred by the complaints we’d already made yet went over to the next table to ask them. We just decided to leave in the end. When we arrived home my stomach felt so tight and I had to run to the bathroom to throw up, my friend felt sick for the rest of the night. Stopped in with the family for tea as we were in the area and we were all really impressed by the food and service. The were and helpful and the food was lovely. I would definitely go there again next we’re in the area! The toilets were also really clean and looked after, which says a lot about a place. Plenty of parking and I would highly recommended to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in the area. I think there may also have been an outside area for kids to play in but it was dark when we went and I only saw this as we drove out and the were great. Unfortunately the food was very disappointing very bland and just tasteless. Shame has we have eaten here before and the food was very nice a few years ago. We won’t be returning. Walked inn as we had a booking had our table and we orderd our food.not to us to know the printer was not working after we orderd on the app as they did not let us know. So after waiting ovwr an hour and a half for our meal we had to get up and find out what was going on they not started our then they told us it will be 5min food came all the stakes was over cooked to welldone when we asked them to be mediume rear the my chips and beef and lamb kebab was frozen awful experiance id keep away and go to kfc better expireance and for the same amount of money .one yong girl running around doing all thw serving only one thwre i think knew what she qas doing Never eating here again. Very fast service, food was excellent The heating was turned down or wasn't working and it was necessary to wear a thick coat to keep warm. Even the server said she was freezing. The were friendly, efficient, and the food was ok. Wouldn't go again until heating problems fixed. Very disappointed with the overall experience. Firstly I ordered pigs in blankets and at £5.99 I expected more than 5! and something that resembled the picture/ description rather than chipolatas in tiny, burnt bacon bits. My main was Hunters Chicken, the chips were good to be honest but the main part of the was the chicken and that was very disappointing, a chicken breast with a BBQ sauce drizzled over the top isn’t hunters chicken according to the description. No bacon on it and no cheese. vegan options, cosy setting, happy to accommodate a large group, would've liked to be able to food a bit later as by the I had finished my main it was too late to a dessert as well.
