Much improved and still lots of construction taking place. A bit difficult finding your way around within the construction area to get into the hospital from the car park but it is signed, you just have to stop and look. No doubt a big improvement once complete. Staff still very good and helpful and no doubt working in even greater pressures due to the reconstruction It's nice to have the Radio but the Staffs in Eye Clinic DPoW are very horrible all i have Done for them and all the money my dad has Donated in Memory of his late wife the wouldn't let me take pictures of 3 TV's i Donated. All the information is for PEOPLE suffering from Eyes as my late Mum couldn't see or hear suffering from Type 1 Diabetes. 11 months ago i went to Great Grimsby MP Melanie Onn she's wasn't helpful at all. On the 6th December at 3.10 pm i went to DPoW Hospital to the Eye Clinic asked the Staff if i could take pictures of my late Mum's 3 TV's she Refused me and told me show your Dad old pictures just Lie to your Dad and someone called ( Andy ) Then 2 Staffs came from upstairs said they will help told me STOP crying took me to PAL's Office PAL's Office wasn't interested she saw me crying told them it's my Left Knee Operation on the 10th December please let me take pictures She shouted to me saying she can't help me, then i told her i am going to tell everyone she said she doesn't CARE. On the 10th December i had my Left Knee Operation had Metal fitted just like my Right Knee. New flooring in some areas. Parking fees are horrendous with the max being just under £5, which adds up when you are visiting regularly. No cleaning utensils were available, such as mop or antibacterial wipes when child was sick in cafe, so had to use baby wipes. Staff didn't seem bothered about sick, said it would get cleaned later on in the evening... Having just had a total hip replacement it has to be said the staff from minute 1 were fabulous, from the ladies who cleaned the ward and then my single room every day through to the consultant surgeon. And boy they were busy! Fab fab fab Had a gynaecologist appointment, and the staff were incredible, patient, and very considerent to my needs. I still got lost in the hospital, but that's a given for me. Well the staff were all amazing, wasn't long before I was seen to either. Very friendly without rushing you off. Thank you Grimsby hospital. And the parking system was great, at least we could park out that hot sun. X Very perlite and professional in everyway. Just an amazing hospital. up until our visit to the fracture department we had no complaints. firstlyafter travelling in hospital transport which although the driver and assistant were great the transport is not designed for comfort. We got there early. After sitting over an hour past my appointment time my results were not ready. the doctor was rude. Hence only 4 stars as my partner and I attend many different departments with no complaints.
