Lots of eateries open so to see people eating and drinking al fresco area always clean and tidy ,loads of places to sit and enjoy the views of the lakes, loads of geese swans and ducks, lots of parking around, Coffee very very nice. Breakfast looked good was and hot. Was dissapointed, Bacon didnt make an apperance on my plate and the sausage was hard. I had a good seat indoors away from the wind overlooking the wildlife in the lake. Very clean and tidy, we visited Christmas day and enjoyed the day. The only thing missing is one or possible two vendors for tea and coffee. It was busy so it would have been worth even a burger van or similar being allowed to trade on the day. Sat in sun, having a coffee whilst my car was at garage. and clean, bins were emptied whilst was sat there. Ducks and geese came out to say hello, but didn't share my coffee with them. for with the dogs or kids. It has a lake, restaurant, sandpit with a small paddling pool. little after going to Oriental Express, quiet with view and swans. Beautiful area. Wildlife everywhere and goslings. Steam train which we didn’t go on but looks like a little ride for family walks or on your own, steam train close by, oriental express all you can eat, Tap house close by with a cafe to watch the lake. Plenty of wildlife Me & the family live a around the boating lake. Very peaceful & scenic. Plenty of parking & a couple of places to stop for food/drinks. My son loves feeding all the It's always to round the boating when I'm home. Can't believe how many live in such a small space!! Could always do with a good clean of bird poop along the paths but not sure that could be done any more than it is. Was a freezing cold day but a good fresh walk. The cafe/bar there is always really too. Lovely gift shop upstairs there too - lots of stuff made by local artists, and friendly helpful staff. Such a beautiful area. I've been to Cleethorpes quite a few times and never new this existed. It's dog friendly, although they do need to be kept on a lead. sunny day, people out enjoying the day but not busy. and relaxing watching the swans, geese, ducks and pigeons. We had such a time with the kids on the paddle boats! The boys loved being out on the water, and feeding the was a big hit. The whole experience was well-organized, and the staff was super friendly.
