Very clean (all areas) particularly the bathrooms. Great spot at the end of the promenade (beach) and has parking although this can be very busy at peak times. Use this end of the if you want to walk your dogs (dogs are allowed on the from here walking South). Upon exploring the neighbouring regions for a suitable beach, I discovered this particular beach. Although Cleethorpes Leisure Centre is not directly on the beach, a charming miniature train provides convenient transportation from the to the centre for a reasonable fare of £2 one way. Upon arrival, visitors are greeted by a picturesque garden featuring a paid for children, boating facilities, and tranquil seating areas. A walking trail encircles the area, and a magnificent fountain takes centre stage in the park. Due to our late discovery, we were unable to spend an extended period at this location. In conclusion, this venue offers a serene retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life, providing an ideal setting for relaxation and rejuvenation. GREAT FOR YOUNG CHILDREN. THE AMUSEMENT ARCADE IS ALWAYS A WINNER. THE OUTDOOR DID NOT HAVE THE RUBBER RINGS THIS TIME FOR THE LAZY RIVER WHICH WE WERE VERY MUCH LOOKING FORWARD TO. BUT THE WATER WAS NICE AND TOASTY OUTSIDE. THERE ARE LOTS OF LOCKERS AND CHANGING ROOMS AND SPACE FOR PUSHCHAIRS AND WHEELCHAIRS WHEN YOU GO 🏊♂️ 😀. THE CARAVAN WAS CLEAN BUT THE BATHROOM DID SMELL OF URINE WHICH DID NOT GO DOWN WELL. CONSIDERING THIS WAS A DISABLED CARAVAN THE BEDS WERE VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. THERE WERE 2 DOUBLE ROOMS WITH 2 SINGLE BEDS IN EACH. I only go here so it's unfair to comment on anything else. However amble cheap parking that you can use half of the ticket to reimburse some of the fee for the activity.. cost £1.80. Relaxed sessions with a wave machine every 20 weeks Fantastic time in the with the kids. Sadly the wave machine was broken but the slide more than made up for it. We got plenty of time too and the parking charges were reasonable. Affordable, clean, attentive lifeguards and good facilities. Some kind of airflow system would be nice though as when parents/guardians sit watching their kids the heat is stifling! It is like sitting in a sauna. No photos added of course as photos are not permitted inside the area. Went for fun and waves. Very fun, wasn’t too busy. My kids had lots of fun and was easily accessible because of the sloped entrance, nice little water slide too. I have been bringing my grandsons (11&13) here for a few years, we travel from Louth because they love the wave machine and the inflatable session on a Saturday 3.30pm. We are greeted by very friendly and polite staff at the desk. I'm always really impressed by the amount of lifeguards who seem to be on the ball at all times, a tricky job with the inflatable course. I can only give 3 stars as over recent months the standard of cleanliness in the changing & shower area has gone down so much I felt quite ill on our last visit. The floor is always very wet, the toilets in particular are sopping with water pooling , and the stench of urine particularly around the shower area is gross. I never see anyone doing any kind of cleaning or mopping of water. Perhaps adopting the no shoes policy that Louth now has would help, but definitely more attention to cleaning and eradicating odours would be appreciated. Great for an hour or with the kids. But the changing rooms were very dirty and cold. Half the showers were out of use. Me and my son love coming. The staff members are always happy, helpful and welcoming. We often go and we always enjoy ourselves. Changing rooms are plentiful and often cleaned and checked on by the staff. Children loved it. Loved the wave and slide. Very family place. They make you feel welcome on the desk. Clean and we all enjoyed it 👏 Quite shocked about today's experience at Cleethorpes pool, never had a problem before but today I noticed a bit of commotion at the side of the with a child crying and the lifeguards helping a grown up, it turns out a child had been sick in their floating seat. We left as soon as I realised and I questioned the lifeguard to ask if they normally stay open if people are sick in the pool, she said no but this was contained within the floating seat, I think this is highly unlikely as the seat had holes in it for the child's legs. I mean I could be way off and it could have been completely sealed but I don't imagine that was the case and it concerns me slightly if this is normal practice as everywhere else I've been if anyone was ever sick the was instantly emptied of people, I'm now just hoping we don't get poorly following this visit 😩 I AM A DISABLED PERSON WITH A BLADDER ISSUE I CALLED IN HERE TO ASK TO USE THE TOILET AND WAS TOLD BY IAN BEHIND THE RECEPTION IN A VERY ARROGANT WAY NO THEY ARE ACROSS THE ROAD IN THE KIOSK. I SAID SO YOU HAVE NO TOILET HERE THAT A DISABLED PERSON CAN USE WHO IS DESPERATE FOR THE TOILET CAN USE HE THEN SAID WE HAVE TO CHARGE FOR THE USE OF THE TOILET !!!! I WAS HORRIFIED HE THEN SAID BUT NOT DISABLED PEOPLE HAVE YOU GOT A BADGE BU THIS TIME THE RECEPTION AREA WAS BUSY AND IAN MADE ME FEEL VERY VERY UNCOMFORTABLE AND UPSET AND DISTRESSED !! I THEN SHOWED HIM MY DISABLED BADGE AND HE SAID IF YOU HAD SHOWED ME THAT IN THE FIRST PLACE YOU COULD HAVE GONE TO THE TOILET. IT WAS ONLY WHEN A LADY SHOUTED AT HIM TO LET ME IN THAT HE PRESSED THE BUZZER AND LET ME IN. IN MY OPINION IAN NEEDS SOME ADDITIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING ON HOW TO DEAL WITH CUSTOMERS AND SPEAK TO PEOPLE IN A PROPER MANNER !!! DIABOLICAL CUSTOMER SERVICE !! THIS IS A PUBLIC SERVICE !!!! Everywhere feels dirty. Shoes are worn in changing areas so there is muck all over the floor which is horrible when you're heading in and out to the pool. Saw no one cleaning which on a half term session would be expected due to the sheer volume of families as there was a queue out the door when we arrived and when we left. Not much space for hair drying. Showers are obviously meant to be a rinse and go sort of job not a full shower. Due to the volume of traffic in the pool, no locks on doors and the fact the floor is mucky so you don't feel clean. Bring flipflops. Wave machine not working. Baby not warmer than main which is the usual? Part of is roped off (for non swimmers I imagine?) but it is very congested and not pleasant to be always backing into people. Would rather not visit again. And try elsewhere I have been going to this leisure centre since I was a kid and have never experienced anything bad until today. Me and my friend went we are both good swimmers and we're having a laugh swimming. My friend has a disability as she had a brain injury last year and it has taken a long time for her to gain the confidence to go again. She has been in other facilities since before this one. We were getting out the deep end as she was nervous that the waves were going to come on and she wanted to in a shallower bit. The life guard on duty then questioned my friend saying can you even in quite a demining manner. She replied yes as she had been for the half an hour. He was sarcy and said prove it the length of the and back but not doing it in doggy. He said this quite rude. She was a bit shocked and then went to prove this. When she went to go the length he turned away not even acknowledging her. She left the equally upset and angry. I had to calm her down in the changing room as she was quite rightly upset with this encounter. I told her that I would sort this and went to the front desk to complain. The reception staff told me I could speak to the manager and I explained what had happened. He said he would have a word after I pointed him out and he would give us a refund. I was happy originally with this outcome, however it then took 25 minutes to get a refund for this. Within this time I saw the lifeguard go into the office I went in and came out. He then proceeded to stand behind me not only laughing and happily talking to his friend but I could hear him saying horrible things about my friend. I am really upset with how this turned out as he seemed to not have learnt his lesson and also continues to act in an immature and hurtful way. I have a family membership, and when we go and we come across the chap on the front desk, he’s always really helpful and polite and thorough, and he does it with a smile on his face, what a great guy to have on reception, I rarely review anything but feel I needed to so look after this guy as these type of people are rare to come by 😊 We teach our children to be aware of predators, we as adults are always reminded to be aware of scams, yet......here we have 'Lincs Inspire' who are happy to take the full amount for a full from children only a few minutes before closing time! Never mind the door to door sellers be careful of these charlatans!
