Not sure if this is the right - we weren't in a revolving but there's a right next to it where we enjoyed our meal. Great views and good food. We arrived around 3pm and were thankful that the cook prepared us food fresh because they were about to close. We enjoyed the älplermagronen and fries with zwiebelsauce. Lots of seating and great views. Very Good food with a beautiful Amazing on the Matterhorn and the surrounding 4000m peaks as well as on the aletsch glacier. The food is actually not too expensive for the fact that it is at the top of a mountain.... and it was actually quite good. Ski area around is amazing. Absolutely amazing view, and the food is also quite ok. We come here every year at least once, and the alone makes it worth it. The food is alright, but used to be better. We spent 20 mins in the queue until we could order and pickup the food. Prices are expensive of course, but still reasonable considering the location at close to 3000m elevation. Fries: 10 ChF, Daily menu 15-20 Chf, Big Rivella 12 CHF. Food is alright. Fries were nice but since this year they are served in a weird container and they cool down fast :(. Soups also nice. Cholera a bit on the expensive side but very tasty. They also have clean and spacious bathrooms. There is no service, you have to pick up the food yourself. As any in ski resorts, it's extremely crowded at lunch. So, I usually go after popular lunch time, but here the amount of people was still considerable. The location is really good, I have to say, even if it's better in summer, I'd say. The is fair, but expensive. The service is quite hasty, but it's mostly because of the crowd. Easily one of my favourite spots in the area. If you are there just for the coffee, then make sure to try the almond croissants. Want some confidence boosters? Try some of the twisted coffees. (Please avoid hitting the slopes after this 😅) If you are there for lunch, you might come across daily menus like pulled pork or spare ribs. All that for a very good price, especially when compared to the Swiss cities. And needless to say, you'll never have such a in the city. And it is one of the best views in the Switzerland. If it's cold, just stay inside. The interior is very cozy and contemporary. With local photos and wall posters. It reflects the local spirit perfectly If it's sunny, apply some sun lotion and relax on the huge terrace deck. The is self-service, but someone will probably assist you after you're done. I will always keep coming back here. Good food, nice view, self-service with fast preparation, pretty loud on busy skiing days. The gulasch soup was really underwhelming – thin, bland, and almost like someone had just added water to stretch it out. Definitely not what I was expecting.
