Beatifull view from the tongue of the Aletsch glacier and a beautifull walk towards Bettmerhorn. Goes uphill, so not for absolute beginners. End at the panorama restaurant. Views are staggering. Stunning viewpoint to see the longest glacier of the Alps, with ~23 km length sooo impressive. Absolutely worth a visit to grasp a breath of nature's history and power 🤍🩶🩵. It's so beautiful and relaxing up there... Even though I felt a wave of sadness seeing the state of the glacier, I did enjoy a moment of reflection. The views are amazing and there are many paths and benches to discover. Additionally I truly loved that the lift manager came to tell everyone that the last ride was in 5mins, although I wouldn't have minded being stuck in such a gorgeous location. A lovley weather, excellent view of the Aletsch Glacier from Moosfluh. There are hiking & bike tracks. Do take note of cable car timetable. UV ray will be strong up in the mountain. Today cloudy with sunshine. Nice and quiet viewpoint for Aletsch Glacier. Recommended to those want to have a nice view and not crowded place. Incredible view. The winter hiking path is great, to and from Riederalp. Very accessible and incredible viewpoint of Europe’s largest (and perhaps most spectacular) glacier. Take the chairlift from Morel up to 2000 meters. There are multiple options from there to go higher up the glacier or head back down along the glacial valley and take a different chairlift back up your starting point. Incredibly, this is not a major tourist attraction and many places have limited (or no) English. Great view over the Aletsch Glacier! Also good starting point for hikes or the start of the Mountain Karts. We have enjoyed it!
