Advisable to have some bug spray if you're sitting outside. The apple strudel was nice but the pastry was a bit too soft for my liking. Friendly service and plenty of free parking. There are many gluten free options (which I am, but my family is not). We would highly recommend this restaurant. There is also a nice playground for the kids right behind. Best place to stop for cappuccino or lunch or dinner in the area! They also have the best apple strudel we’ve had during our vacation and much much better than the ones we had in Austria. Blessings. Great Spot for Lunch Near Zelenci Spring The restaurant near Zelenci Spring is a great place to stop for lunch. It’s reasonably priced, the food is good, and they also serve delicious ice cream — perfect for a refreshing treat after the walk. The staff were friendly, and the service was quick. Both the restaurant and the toilets were very clean, which was a big plus. There’s also a small playground nearby with a seesaw, slides, and other play equipment, making it a great stop for families with young children. Overall, it’s a convenient and pleasant place to eat when visiting Zelenci Spring. Good portions and delicious food. The waitress forgot the soup, but it was very kind of her to take a glass of wine off the bill as an apology. The service was slow but understandably they were busy and we were in a hurry to catch last bus to Ljubljana :) A lovely little Alpine style bar/café/restaurant. We loved our visit and received a very friendly welcome. I got the Grill Platter which was a very generous amount and exactly what was needed after a long day. Thank you! I’m giving it 3 stars because the food wasn’t particularly delicious, and there was an issue where my husband was served three types of meat — two of them were very rare inside, and he doesn’t eat meat like that. They could have mentioned it beforehand or asked how we wanted the meat cooked. On the positive side, they did take the meat back and cooked it more thoroughly.
