We were the only ones there (myself, husband and two children). It was so peaceful, with fruit trees in the garden and a wonderful view. One of the Nuns was there and it was a pleasure to meet her, we spent some quiet moments in the church, lit a candle and chatted with her. She asked what religion I was and when I told her I was Catholic she gave me a pamphlet explaining the differences between orthodoxy and Catholicism which I greatly appreciated as it answered a lot of the questions I had. There were a family of cats living in the garden that were clearly well looked after and we were laughing watching them play and lounge in the sun. I’m so glad we stopped here, it’s a special place.
