This place relishes in the fact it is the only place around so can charge what they like (expensive!) and the quality is not fantastic. Bring your own food! The beach is beautiful with the palm forest and river nearby! Waiting half an hour for a measly French fries for four euros each, plus two slices of dry bread, ketchup and mayo are not available at the shop I've ever seen in my life. Bring your own something or it is better in sand than what you get here. No shops only recommend Price-performance ratio does not exist, the fries are worth a maximum of ten cents. Actually the only bad food I had at this lovely island and I don't remember I ever had something as simple to prepare as chicken this bad! It had a bad taste, it was clearly not grilled in that moment but reheated, really dry. I guess dead pigeon taste like this. One positive is that it was a big portion, with fries included which i ate, cuz there is no other options near (thats my fault I didnt bring a sandwich) but the reast of it (meat) was like a dog food, no offense to dogs, i guess they would skip it too... You cannot expect big portions (it is a bar in the middle of nowhere to serve tons of people in the nature — pointless to complain about that). But you must always expect kindness , which we did not find. Rude to do not apologize for mistaking our table and the food never arrived. The owner and waiters arrived to show us they were right: they were wrong. If you wanna handles tons of people, you do it right (with kindness) or do not. The food was decent, but the service was disrespectful and unprofessional. At the counter, a waiter spoke to me in Greek, and I replied fluently in Greek. When I didn’t understand one single word and asked him to repeat it, a waitress with light eyes standing behind him made an offensive comment in Greek about me: “She can speak Greek but doesn’t understand it.” This is condescending, rude, and completely unacceptable. Speaking like that about customers shows a lack of respect and basic courtesy. I will not return and cannot recommend this place. HORRIBLE! This restaurant served us ROTTEN MEAT. You could taste it immediately — I sent my plate back right away! When I informed the manager, she refused to refund us, even though it was clear they were putting customers' health at risk.
