A huge sandy that impresses you with its size. It is big enough that it can't get overcrowded. The waters are alright, may get wavy, depending on the weather. Cool here. There is some places to rent sunbed but you can also find a spot to rest. There os some sand here but as you get close to the it turns to little rocks nothing terrible you can still manage without shoes. There was lots of waves at the time we get there and the gets deep really quick maybe not the best place to swim with kids. Still a nice place to enjoy th e ses and the sun pf Creta. Reading the previous reviews about 'beach shoes recommended'... I'd say that THEY ARE NOT NEEDED! there are a few pebbles, but not sharp at all. Entering the sea is like a foot massage :-) Quiet with families and bars in the back to get some food and drinks. Even a shower. Today there were strong waves from 13.00 so baywatchers showed red flag...it was necessary. A nice place to sit back and relax, nice beach. The has loads of hidden bars where you can get coffee, beer and food. Breiter Sandstrand mit kleinem Kiesabschnitt am Ufer. Badeschuhe nicht unbedingt notwendig, aber schon empfehlenswert. Liegen ab 3,5€ pro Stück für den ganzen Tag, angrenzend ein kleiner Strandimbiss mit Toilette, Speisen und Getränken. Dugačka peščana plaža sa puno barova, hotela, ležaljki pored kojih i u najvećoj gužvi uvek ima mesta. I u septembru su popunjeni kapaciteti. Veliki talasi i crvena zastavica su česti,ali to je poznato,ali su tu sunce i izleti. Nice clean and easy access water. Can be a bit windy at times. Good enough for swimming on a non windy day. The waves get pretty crazy otherwise! But still not fitting for any surfing activities. Very nice , long and sandy seashore , excellent for some harsh running on the sand. Beware of hotel owners , they usually don't like "trespassers" on their "owned" Beaches. For our first time in Crete, we want a holidays. So, a long a sandy is a must for us, luckily we found just what we wanted! Our hotel was only 5 mins away from here. The is long and sandy with plenty of umbrellas, cost us 6€ for 2 beds and 1 umbrella for a day. There was no rock at all, just pebbles and sand. The wave was calm too, the in July was cool, not warm but you get used to it in a few minute and it was actually great because of the hot sun Overall we had a great time here, would definitely recommend for people looking for a relaxing as far as the eyes can see! Rustig strand, je kunt er tijdens eb mooi door de kustlijn heen waden. I'm giving it 2 stars due to amenities, but the itself is disappointing. You definitely need shoes - too many rocks, pebbles and the likes. Entry in is rough, steep and, if you are not a GOOD swimmer at least, you'll not be able to enjoy it at all! It goes deep very quickly and, combined with the constant waves and currents, you can't even stay close to the shore cause all the rocks will slide from under you within minutes. So. I can only recommend this for good and above swimmers. Otherwise, there are bars all over, beds are 7eur per 2 beds per day, and the atmosphere is nice. Very windy, steep shore, not recommended for kids. Not worth coming here, is dirty, with big waves, very deep close to the shore and rocky, the only saving grace was that sunbeds were cheap (3 euro) Alright but not the best of beaches but the was salty and Poseidon was near the best restaurant near a in Crete very good experience there tbh but ngl kinda decent.
